I just wanted to say Thank you! to Kyrin the Dragon Doctor for your Extraordinary skill in repairing my pore ole broke down winged peacock spectral who would have had to live a permanently injured life if it had been up to me. But I just got him back from Idaho and he is COMPLETELY healed, no sign of ever having been injured at all! His wing was totally torn off and now he’s whole! *Three bows to the northeast* I’m awed and amazed, this skill is so beyond me! So thank you Thank you THANK YOU! 😆
March 28, 2008 at 8:43 pm #684313Wow, he got there fast!
I am glad you are pleased. Here’s a pic of him fixed.Today my Peacock Emperor arrived, he was supposed to only have a damaged horn, but they packed him really poorly and so he’s in 5 big pieces and an assortment of little ones. *sigh*
I expected it, but I am still disappointed. So I’ve asked the seller for a partial refund. He was to be a project dragon anyway, but not this much of one!

March 28, 2008 at 8:51 pm #684314Oy, I’d ask for a full refund on shipping. They didn’t know that you were just using him as a fix project.

He was in good condition when I purchased him, only a chipped horn, the rest of him was perfect.
Now he’s a wreck. But I got him for $100.99, so if they give me half that, I am still doing good price wise. The seller used an old stereo box, put the dragon between the styrofoam meant for the stereo, threw in an old towel, and called it good enough, the dragon could move, a lot, and did, therefore he broke.
To be honest, I fully expected him to arrive in this condition, the seller is new, no feedback and I knew he wouldn’t listen when I told him how to pack him. They never do. So it’s a good thing I repair this stuff, isn’t it? 🙂

March 28, 2008 at 9:15 pm #684316Wow that spectral looks new! Great job. And I hope you get your refund w/little flak from the seller. What a nut ball.
March 28, 2008 at 9:17 pm #684317I know you’re a Windstone whisperer (like the dog whisperer :D) and you can fix him, but what will you do feedback-wise for that seller?

I’ve let him know that if he works with me and we settle this amicably, then I will leave him positive with a mention on poor packing. But if this ends up getting ugly, then all bets are off. I am hoping he will cooperate and we can settle this without getting PayPal involved or having to do neg feedback.
It isn’t that I want to give future buyers bad info, but he is just starting out, and getting neg feedback from the get-go would be bad. I don’t want to do that to him unless I have to, basically the feedback will mention the dragon arrived broken, but the seller and I came to an agreement quickly, or something to that effect. Basically stating that he was quick to take care of the problem.
If he is willing to work with me, then I will try not to ruin his eBay standings, such as they are.

I did tell him that…he didn’t do it.
One box, lots of moving around space, flimsey box, I’m lucky I got what I got!
I’ll post pics later.
