I have given birth to a beautiful baby girl on the 15th!!
I will have to post pictures later, since I am only here because of a late night feeding, but that morning I had woken up, and I could tell something was different, and sure enough my water broke. KC and I had nothing ready considering that I wasn’t due until the 28th! We got in the car, and on the way there we were laughing and talking because I wasn’t in any pain. We got to the hospital, and signed in, and then they hooked me up to moniters. It said I was having contractions every 5 minutes, but I couldn’t feel them. The doctor decided to put me on petocin since my water broke to ensure that I would progress. They said they give a woman 24 hours from the time her water breaks to give birth, so they wanted to avoid a c-section. I tried to go without an epidural, and I endured a few hours of painful contractions, but it got to a point when I couldn’t take it anymore, so I opted for one. I am REALLY glad I did because my pain went away completely. I had Chloe Alanis Redmon at 10:16 that night, and I was shocked and proud that I was able to give birth because I didn’t know I could do it. Anyway, it’s bedtime, and I will post pictures hopefully in a few hours after some sleep. I still have more stories to tell!
