So, as soon as I found out that The Ark of Truth was out I just had to buy it. I flinched at the price ($27.99) luckally for me it came up much cheaper. I didn’t have a chance to watch it until today. Wow! Now I really can’t wait for the Stargate movie that’s coming out this summer…..
Well, how about the rest of you? Have you seen it yet? I haven’t seen Season 10 yet so some of it was a spoiler. Maybe someday I’ll break down and buy the last season. I’m just waiting for a sale. lol
March 15, 2008 at 10:55 pm #494708March 15, 2008 at 11:05 pm #679652I haven’t even seen the whole series yet. I’m working on it but the SciFi channel keeps playing them all out of order. So I’m breaking down and buying them on DVD slowly.
March 15, 2008 at 11:43 pm #679653No, I haven’t seen it yet. So it’s good, huh?
We finished the entire series. The very last episode was great!
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

XD I just needed to complete my collection. >.>; First I’m going to watch the whooooole thing again. Shows seem different when you watch them all in a row instead of like…an episode here, an episode there…I forget characters, watching it like that. e.e;
March 18, 2008 at 1:28 am #679655I wish I could come watch the whole season with you, I LOVE Stargate, and I’d love to see the whole thing through! When you’re done watching them…can I borrow them if I pay for shipping? 😀 I don’t watch TV much anymore, but when I do it’s usually a show like Stargate 😀 yay Scifi!
March 18, 2008 at 4:40 am #679656Just finished it and it was FABULOUS!!!!!! I just hate the fact that the series is ending…….. *I know; I’m such a geek…*

March 18, 2008 at 7:41 am #679657The series lost me once people started leaving and the plot went away from exploration. It was my favorite show for a long time though. Same thing happened with Babylon 5 for me. I watched it until the end of the war between the old ones and then it just lost its plot.
I would help but I am just to tired to get out of bed today~
Engaged to a WeaselMarch 18, 2008 at 12:16 pm #679658I felt the same…. I hated season six. (Nothing against Jonas…. not at all…. 🙄 ) Season seven was alright, they just seemed to get better after that but, no it’s just not the same. I was disapointed that a certin person did not show up in the Ark of Truth but, that was to be expected.
March 18, 2008 at 12:31 pm #679659I haven’t seen it yet but I am just dying to. We’ve been too broke to do anything much. Between gas prices and vehicle repairs and the rising cost of everything….UGH! I haven’t even bought any new Windstones ~Sniff~ 😆
I have seen every episode of both Stargate series. Loved Atlantis at first. Got kinda tired of the whole Replicator thing though. And they almost lost me completely when they killed Dr. Becket.you know you wanna click us 😉
*SilverFyre *EmeraldFyre*Strawberry Fyre*Jade Fyre*bred redMarch 18, 2008 at 2:36 pm #679660I agree about Dr. Beckett, but then they brought in Jewel Staite to be the new doctor, so I was hooked again. I’ve always loved her in Firefly, so I was glad to see her in a new show I like.
And Adam Baldwin (Jayne from Firefly) is on Chuck. 😆
March 18, 2008 at 3:03 pm #679661They did a good job of the special effects and the plot was decent. I thought the very end wind up of the Ori problem was a bit simplistic, but otherwise it was ok.
If you can get it for under $20, then it is worth it.
March 18, 2008 at 3:10 pm #679662I’m in Canada….. I only paid $19.99 plus tax minus my discount. So I’m happy with that.
The Ori was really quite simplistic yes, but I have to say the other thing was cool. (I’d say what but, I don’t want to spoil it…)

That’s because JMS (the writer of Babylon 5) was told that Babylon 5 was being canceled and he had to make that (season 4) the last season. Basically he had to wrap up and condense what he was expecting to be a 5 season show into the end of the 4th season. Then, at the very last possible moment, the TV execs said, “HAY GUYS, do another season!”
*headdesk*
So that’s why the 5th season was out of whack with the rest of the series. Because the storyline had been forced to end in the 4th season.
March 18, 2008 at 4:38 pm #679664oh, if you do not want to shell out the money to buy the series, consider signing up for netflix and getting them that way. i got the first 4 seasons, but i am running low on funds, so i might do that myself. it was suggested to me.
