http://www.sarahjestin.com/feedbacklists.htmMarch 8, 2008 at 12:45 am #675861Well, today is a PD day, so I took the day off. My daughter had a friend over for the day – the mom dropped her off at 8 this morning. We went to the movies to see the Spiderwick chronicles (awesome, btw), and the friend is staying over for the night.
Now, somehow last night, I got talked into having another friend for the sleepover. Originally, her mom was to drop her off around 8 tonight, but she called saying she didn’t have a ride (she’s working on getting her licence and a car). No prob, they live 5 minutes away. However, we have another snow storm in the works, so I didn’t want to get out tonight. I therefore went to pick up said friend right after the movie, around 5.
So imagine three 9-year-old girls squished in the back of a New Beetle, squealing all they can…
Supper was interesting too, let me tell you! And now, they’re in the soaker tub… I don’t hear anything. Hm… maybe I should be worried…
Then a movie and then, we’ll try to get them to sleep. Not!
Edit: I heard more squealing… they’re alive!

They won’t, but I will. They were instructed to keep quiet – under thread of a very boring breakfast tomorrow morning instead of waffles and Nutella.
😀 What the heck, it’s worth a try, no? 😀

March 8, 2008 at 8:16 am #675868I love sleepovers. We make a pallet in the living room and watch scary movies!
March 8, 2008 at 8:18 am #675869I will always treasure the summers I spent with my cousins at our grandparent’s home, running wild on their 40 acres and sharing a big bed laid out on the floor of their office. *happy sigh*
March 8, 2008 at 1:33 pm #675870So Medley, did you survive? 😆 When we have sleepovers, I get to wake up to the sweet sounds of machine guns firing on the video games!!! 😆
March 8, 2008 at 3:00 pm #675871The *&?*?*(& kids basically didn’t sleep… The bags under their eyes are so big, they can pack their entire room in there.
Note to self: at this point in life, only one kid for a sleepover, not two…

Well, that’s the thing! We talked late at sleepovers, but eventually, we slept a more or less normal night.
I think kids today might get too many vitamins 😀
