π Aparently green is a really popular color for these keepers. I did a lot of airbrushing on this one. Im getting more confident with it, but it definatley is NOT easy! I’m finding too that I’m having a hard time hand painting over the airbrushed paint. I had a great time with my collection of pearl ex too. I used every green I have, plus rose gold. I used interference blue and alternated with interfernce green to lessen the blue, which came out a little too blue here and there. Then I attacked with liquid gold leaf and had fun giving this dragon lots of gold warts…Anywho, I had LOTS of fun with this one and I love the outcome. I’m anxiously awaiting more now since I only had 2….
February 9, 2008 at 4:52 pm #663329Nicely done! Those colors work well together.
February 9, 2008 at 5:35 pm #663330I like the way it goes from the light to the dark green. Nice colors.
February 9, 2008 at 5:45 pm #663331That’s a really beautiful paint job…love the pink on him, and I can’t say that I am usually a fan of pink.

I really like the shade of ‘rose gold’ pearl ex! And, sorry, I love pink dragons π
February 9, 2008 at 9:29 pm #663333The green vanishing to pink is extraordinary.
February 11, 2008 at 2:50 am #663334WOW! GORGEOUS! I love your colors!!!
I am sooo jealous of all of you that did get these Keepers, seeing them all, I want to cry! π₯ I want one soooo bad.
WOW though! Are you going to keep him or sell him? He’s awesome! π π
February 11, 2008 at 6:57 am #663335I saw that Keeper on E-Bay and thought, “Well, now we know what the most popular color for these guys will be.” On the little dragon PYOs it was blue for the longest time.

I dunno, I think that there will be a WIDE variety of different colors…I dont think that we will see more of one color than the next from what Ive seen so far π , cause’ there is just SO much you can do with these guys because of the way the scales were created **BIG PROPS TO MELODY!!!! π π ** I see in my head more of like the rainbow style dragons…NOT those specific colors, I mean…just using alot of colors on one piece to make it all fit in. π― Did I just confuse everyone, or just me??? π π
February 14, 2008 at 9:58 am #663337These Keepers will be painted in every color imaginable – especially once they become as easly available as the other PYOs. But green really does suit the sculpt. π
February 15, 2008 at 5:15 pm #663338Yes, green does look VERY VERY good on these, I AGREE….Cant wait to see more of them especially in more colors! π
February 16, 2008 at 11:18 pm #663339lol! I can’t wait to see more blank ones sitting on my painting table!! π I’m just dieing to do a brown coppery one and a peachy pink one w/ gold….maybe a pastelled green…..a pastelled red & orange w/ copper…..
