My cats are locked in the bedroom by day and only allowed in the rest of the house when I am home.

Chewy has developed a nasty habit. The cats are not allowed on the kitchen counter, buy Chewy is stealthy. I caught her with her tongue in a pan of white gravy the other day that was in the sink. It had only been there 10 minutes and I never heard her.

Well tonight we had chicken and stuffing. There was a 1/2 piece of chicken breast and stuffing left over in a disposable pan. Well, about 30 minutes after we ate, I threw out the leftovers and walked back in the living room. There was something in front of the dog basket.

I picked up this squishy creamy think, thinking it was a wet piece of rawhide. Now, let me explain, the basket is about 7 feet from me, in my direct line of sight.

The squishy thing was the remnants of the chicken….

She managed to get the chicken out of the pan, bring it right in front of me in the living room, and eat half of it….I thought she was fishing dog toys or cat toys out of the basket.

Then, she came back in the living room and was all indignant, hunting around for her chicken breast…like, why did someone pick it up?

She is so sneaky….she is sooo smart..she has two bells on and I still didn’t hear her….

What a mess! Just thought I would share!

Cats are VERY inteligent animals and can figure out all sorts of things to drive you nuts

Ha Ha…silly cats. Tell me about them being smart…my cat has discovered how to knock over the rather large and heavy container that his food stays in…I’ve had to move three times cuz he’s so darn sneaky. Once in the closet with sliding doors..that didn’t work out well cuz almost every morning I’d here him pull the doors open. Once outta the kitchen cabinet cuz he learned how to pull that open…and now it stays in the spare bedroom with the door shut!!!

My most wanted list: Peacock kitty wizard, carnelian mouse wizard, copper patina frog wizard, autumn leaf poads, pumpkin spice kitties

they will find a way to get what they want especially when hungry

he’s on a diet recommended by the vet cuz he’s sooo over weight for being the runt of the litter…he weighs close to 23 lbs. I want him to stay around for a while so I’m forced to feed him once a day now… 🙁 😆 I feel for him but doctors orders.

Wait untill Chewy figures out how to open doors!! My two Himalayan boys are masters of the door opening, in my old apartment, the bathroom door faced a window (it was a studio) and they used to open the door and flash me to the neihborhood!! Brats! they can open any door, and they turn on the tv and change the channels too!! Crazy kitties!

Hehehe, my big black cat Mephistopheles opens doors, pocket doors, cabinets and can turn on the faucet. I am sure he will teach Chewy!

From the sounds of it, my cats are dumb as rock compared to some of yours!! But I still love them. 😆 😆

my son’s disabled cat feeds and waters her toys. She first puts them one at a time in her food bowl, then takes them out and puts them in her water dish, then takes them out and plays with them until they are dry. So there is always a toy in the food and water dishes at any given time. Like a little mama! She has never had kittens, has had major surgeries and her tail doesn’t work. She is one well-loved cat!(my daughter-in-law has a picture of her tattooed on her shoulder!) drgnlvr

what’s their favorite programing? I’m guessing animal planet, but with cats you never know….

I would help but I am just to tired to get out of bed today~
