Well, I’m going to repair my male kirin. I have paint coming from Melody. Thank you, thank you, thank you Melody, that makes this so much easier. 😀

So, I know apoxie sculpt is recomended. Has anyone used apoxie fix? It sounds like a great product…. But, more a more pressing question where do you get apoxie sculpt from? Has anyone found it in say Walmart or Micheals? I’ve looked just about everywhere, and can’t find it. I’m going to Micheals tomorrow, hopefully they’ll have it. If not, I guess I’ll be buying it from an online store.

While I’m fixing the kirin I may as well fix up my young pegasus and frog prince. I know what colour to use on the pegasus. I don’t know what colour to use for the frog. He needs a new foot and a re-sculpted eye rim. (He’s very fragile, everytime I move him it seems more comes off. Poor guy, his previous owner didn’t take very good care of him)

Any advice or tips would be appreciated. 😀

I haven’t tried the Apoxie Fix, I debated it when I was choosing the Apoxie Sculpt, but opted for the AS.

I have yet to find it anywhere but online. Here’s the link: http://www.avesstudio.com/Products/Apoxie_Sculpt/apoxie_sculpt.html

I’d ask Melody about paint for the frog, his colors are a pain in the tail to hand mix, I’ve done it, but its still a royal pain.

I have learned one thing about the AS, if you chill it, it isn’t near as sticky when you work with it.

Anyway, that’s my 2 cents, take it as you will.

Thank you Kyrin. I wish I could afford to just send them to you to fix. (It would be easier for me, and help you out. I hate this time of year…)

I need to go to Micheals anyways, so I’ll have a look for some apoxie sculpt. I won’t be surprised if they don’t have any. I’m sure I’ve seen it somewhere before. I just can’t remember where. For some reason I keep thinking I should be able to find it where I work. But, if we did carry it, then it was a very long time ago. (Wishfull thinking…) Maybe I’ve seen it at Home Depot, oh well, I’ll just order some online.

My ramble for the day. lol

    Edited since I can’t spell anything right today… 😛

I prefer apoxiesculpt as well, it’s pretty good stuff for repairs. 😀
