My art: featherdust.comJanuary 27, 2008 at 6:34 pm #659716they hit e-bay every once in a while. I’m NOT selling mine!! I orderred it the day I got the catalog and ended up getting #1 of 2000. Maybe I should have left it in the box but it’s on display in my back bedroom. i can’t say Dragon room because I have dragons thru my entire house.
The seem to sell for $300-$500. They originallt sold for $750 and are now retired so even $500 is not badJanuary 27, 2008 at 8:15 pm #659717Those prices aren’t bad DM! There is one that keeps popping up on eBay that the seller is asking over $1,000 for. 😯

If they sell it I want to know who the buyer is!!
January 27, 2008 at 9:05 pm #659719This auction shows paperwork stating the original issue price of Clash of the Time Lords was $1150. 😯 Pricey! I have Dragon of Triumph and Dragon of Wisdom, but never picked up the other two. I thought they were too expensive. hahaHA! If I could have seen my Windstone future! 🙄 😆
January 27, 2008 at 11:28 pm #659720Gorgeous! But real lost-wax bronzes are always expensive. Many individual artists sell them for far more than $1150.
If anyone ever ends up with one of these they don’t want, I’m willing to trade for one!

Oh, I’m not saying they’re not worth the price. I love the two I have and might get the the other two if the price is right and I can bear to spend them money on non-Windstones. 😆 If I find a “Clash”, you’ll be the first to know, as I am not too fond of that particular piece.

I have no idea where that price came from. The Franklin Mint store was still in the Mall when these came out. Michael Whealan came out with Dual of the Dragon and they had the price at $1500.00 about 2 months later I stopped by the store and they had reduced the price to $750. The sales person said they where doing something called price pointing to determian the final selling price. This mall Stoneridge is in a VERY RITZY area in Pleasanton CA where there is a LOT of money. It did not even sell there for $1500. I bought mine once the price dropped to $750. About a month later Julie Bell came out with her Clash of the Time Lords and I ordered it the second I saw it in the catalog and that was how I got #1. Her price was ALWAYS the $750 price at least until they cleared out all the quality dragons to sell the Crap they are seling now.
I can’t see the atricle you quoted. Is it yet another seller on e-bay that needs to get corrected??
January 28, 2008 at 12:09 am #659724This is posted on their auction. It looks like the page from a FM catalog. We don’t have any FM stores around here, so I don’t know if their prices differ.
