Stupid People

well on my way to meet a friend for dinner….some idiot was driving stupid infront of me…so I changed lanes….so he swerved infront of me…so I changed lanes again…so of course he tries to swerve infront of me again…but I was already there…so I had to drive up on the shoulder…I was just about past him…and so he hits me….I swear he did it on purpose….but of course no way to prove it…and he tried to tell the cops I smelled like alcohol but I didn’t even get close enough to him for him to smell me…i’d had water all day and ate an apple…the jerk…

and then he tried to say I hit him in the middle of his passenger door…but there’s only damage to my left rear bumper….no way I hit him…he hit me with his front bumper…and I almost lost control of the car….but I didn’t…and then he told the cops I was going so fast he never saw me…but um if I was going that fast i would have def lost control of the car…

the police hit people the same way all the time to make them lose control of the car…it’s called the PIT manuever..

then he tried to say his truck couldn’t go that fast….even though I saw him speeding and swerving in and out, he had a big ole V8 Chevy truck 😯 …I should have just slowed down and stayed away, like miles away…but I didn’t think he was that crazy….anyway…they knew he was full of crap…but he called his girlfriend or whatever and she started yelling and at the officers because she said they needed to do a sobriety test on me….blah blah…well they told her to go sit down and called the supervisor and he came and told them it wasn’t going to happen cause they didn’t smell any alcohol….and I didn’t look the least bit intoxicated…and then the officers told me they were going to file the police report out saying he came into my lane but that they couldn’t assign fault…but duh that’s up to the insurance company anyway…

anyway…bumper damaged…but not bad…it’s pushed in a little and scratched…that’s it…

Oh the best part is….he tried to drive away….he drove about a mile and a half….I had to follow him…so he couldn’t get away….people around here do hit and runs a lot….

grrr….bad people….

and today had been a really good day before that….I’d gotten all the cleaning done early…fixed a problem with our clothes dryer….won the pearl gold oriental…was relaxed and in a good mood….

blah…now I have to go to the insurance company and deal with trying to get the bumper fixed…

yet another reason to want to move away from this town…

yeah…I have some close calls on the highway every day…it’s nuts driving out there….

but unfortunately…it’s about the only way to get around….

and the cops were so sick of him…but they couldn’t do anything to him….

oh they get worse here when it snows or rains….

and ice…ugh I usually don’t go anywhere at all when it’s icey…

it’s freaky out there….and…honestly…heavy traffic or fast traffic I can handle…I’ve driven in tons of big cities and had no problem…here…I’ve had nothing but problems…
