So did you think your drawings would do better, or were you expecting worse?
Can we expect many more?
Would you think about remaking your “Griffin Love” and putting it up?January 11, 2008 at 4:42 pm #493910January 11, 2008 at 5:22 pm #654980From what I got out of it Melody did not think her drawings would sell for anything so I’m sure she is surprised

Would you think about remaking your “Griffin Love” and putting it up?I didn’t know what to expect. I feel very special that these are selling. I really appreciate the encouragement! I searched the “Original graphite drawings” listing on Ebay and it seems that it is rare that any original drawing sells! I know perfectly well that if it wasn’t for you guys, they wouldn’t, of course. So, Thank you very much! (There is some great art in that listing at bargain prices, by the way, if you are into nude figure drawings.)
It is fun to do this. I use “Scatch time” to draw them, like “scratch disk” space : those little cracks in the day when you need to wait, and can’t do much else, such as sitting in a restaurant waiting for food. That is why they sometimes have smudges on them. It is Thai food. Yum.
I could try redoing “love Griffin”, but sometimes a subtle drawing like that is not replicable. It just came out that way!January 11, 2008 at 7:54 pm #654982π π Sounds like you work for us 24-7! We appreciate all that you do! My fave is still the griffacampus, that seagull makes me grin every time!

I have the same issue. I do a really cool sketch in pen and can’t reproduce it ever again.
I would totally love to see you try though!
Thank you!January 11, 2008 at 7:56 pm #654984Melody wrote:[That is why they sometimes have smudges on them. It is Thai food. Yum.
I am so bummed out. I tried Thai food and sushi when I was in GA and I loved it. Now that I live in the middle of nowhere I can’t get it anymore! I figured I’d make my own sushi but no one around here even sells salmon or tuna steaks.
This is a random rant!

This is a random rant! We make bacon and avocado sushirolls. It is great! Totally blows the health benefit of sushi, though. We also use canned smoked trout in a pinch. It works ok when you are desperate.

Where’s the puking smiley… πI like to think God put fish in the oceans so we didn’t have to eat them π
January 11, 2008 at 8:14 pm #654987Never have tried sushi…although I love seafood. There aren’t any Thai places around here that I know of, sometime I’ll have to try both. When I feel brave. π

I will have to try that. I love avacado!
I dislike most smoked fish, but I’ve never tried trout so I’ll give it a go too. I’ll try anything.

…And you’d be amazed how little artwork I get to do!
January 11, 2008 at 8:18 pm #654990What would you say you spend the majority of your time working on? Painting? Paperwork? Quality control? Just curious. I know the answer is probably ‘moving’ at the moment!

I’d send you some but I don’t think it would be good after being in a box from Canada to you… π―
