January 7, 2008 at 8:38 pm #652491It’s call The Quest for the bird of time. Said egg is needed to stop time to give a sorceress time to renew the spell emprisoning a sort of god. The main characters have to travel to the countries of the 7 steps, fight weird creatures…

January 8, 2008 at 1:39 pm #652493French/Belgium Fantasy and science fiction aren’t really published in novel form, but in comic books. Though you’ll find the same elements of both genres, the way they’re treated can be very different from the American way. Two of the funniest fantasy series I have are Lanfeust de Troy and Trolls de Troy. Very, very dark humor, though. They’re on the top shelf because I don’t want my daughter to lay hands on them!
So yeah, that would be a good reason to practice your French!
