It’s called Loss. It’s not done yet, this is just what I did last night. The paper is 17×12 inches. 😀
Yeah, I lost my grandma this past year…I’ve been missing her lately. Sorry it’s not a very happy piece, but I thought you guys might like it anyway. 😀
I like it. It really conveys the sentiment that someone is missing someone else and their good friend is supporting them through the ordeal. The nice thing with this drawing is that it could be either character who is doing the missing or the supporting (does that makes sense? 😳 )

I know how it feels to miss a grandparent. My grandma who did the decorated eggs I shown before died 15 years ago on Jan. 31 (her 95th birthday would have been Jan. 3) and I still miss her from time to time.
I like it when artists don’t so happy pieces all the time. To me it shows that there are many facets to the artist.

Oh my, I am sorry… I have lost all of my grandparents myself, so I know what it feels like. Though one of them I never got to know. He died of an heart attack before the age of 30.
