As you all know my son of 18 years of age is in a wheelchair. I had organised some transportation from my place to my mom for Christmas day from 3PM to 7:30 PM. 3PM arrives and no bus…3:30 PM still noting so I had to put him in the car.Very difficult to do since he is long and can’t help himself so it is like trying to bend something long that does not want to bend and that is dead weight. I hurt my back doing this. Got to mom’s place and luckely my mom’s boyfriend was there to help. We had a good time. Lots of great present for my son, one in particular made my mom cry which in turn made me cry. I’m glad to have taken the decision to bring him there in the car since he really enjoyed it. I was not going to let that transportation company spoil our Christmas.
We came back home at 8PM I somehow manage to get him out of the car. He said he was happy with his day but did wish that the bus would have been there.
Came Jan 2nd that company is going to get a phone call from me! 👿
Anyway here is the present that made mom cry. It is a collection of Michel’s best souvenirs (outings & people). I had purchase a new printer yesterday and put this frame together this morning.

I will since this is not the first time this happens.[/]
December 26, 2007 at 4:43 am #649948That is so inconsiderate of them 👿 What if you had not been able to find another way to get to your mother’s? Oversights like that on their part have the real potential to ruin people’s holidays! They need to think about that before they stand people up, whatever the reason for it.
However… I am glad you and yours were able to spend time together anyway, BDW 🙂
December 26, 2007 at 4:57 am #649949I’m glad you persevered and had a good time with your family, BDW. You’re surely an angel.

December 28, 2007 at 1:14 am #649954Well I called the company in Shawville that books for the transportation. They had sent the fax to the bus company in Hull Dec 12. Now that bus company says they never got the fax, (bull…). The woman that faxes them also called them on the 12 to make sure they had gotten the fax and it was confirmed. Now they say that they are not responsible that they did not loose the fax and that it is Shawville that are giving me the run arround.
I know that it is not the case since the lady that faxes was always honnest and I never had any problems with them. The bus company on the other hand is different. They have lied to me in the past and are either late (sometime by 1 1/2 hours) or they just don’t show up.
Unfortunatly I can’t change company since they are the only one. That suck!!![/]
December 28, 2007 at 1:37 am #649955Sorry you can’t find someone more reliable
