Moving!

I have been nearly out of commission the last two days, and I have a week ahead of me. We’re moving all of our stuff without help and my twiggy arms are having a heck of a time with it! 😆 Anyway with any luck we will hit the road on Tuesday, get there on Wednesday… wait for the moving truck till Friday and shove all our stuff in storage. I’m having a terrible time with this on top of trying to get gifts and figure out ways to wrap and pack them so I can get to them easily again. This is rough! Not to mention very expensive. It’s costing us more than the Sun Griffin went for! Ack!

See you all again soon! I’ll peek in once in a while, when I stop to catch my breath. 😉

Here’s a little moving hint. If you have a hard time moving large or heavy pieces because you cant get a good grip, get a rope or better yet a large tie-down strap. You run the strap under the item, and run it up about waist high and then wrap it around your forearms. Then when you lift up, it gives you more leverage and lets you pull it into your body. This is mostly useful for those awkward pieces that you can never seem to get a grip on, and can really save some pain and suffering of the hands. Just a thought.

We’ve landed, but of course with Christmas so soon, I’m wildly busy scrambling to make gifts for my family since I can’t afford them this year. Hopefully things will calm down soon!

I’ll get back to painting today or tomorrow. 🙂
