My art: featherdust.comDecember 4, 2007 at 5:38 pm #642083Hi guys! I’m about to start on another emperor (special artist’s edition/OOAK thing) and was wondering if anyone has any input on colors they might like to see? Remember I cannot copy the coloration of any production or special pieces Melody or Oly have done.
I was thinking something with reds, but Oly has been doing a lot of reddish dragons and Windstone is working on a new red color as production (that’s all I’m saying on that! π ) so I thought I should probably stay away from reds.
Any thoughts? π Something green? Or are you sick of green too?

Not that I’ll ever be able to afford him…

December 4, 2007 at 6:16 pm #642087Silver and Purple? π
December 4, 2007 at 6:26 pm #642088My vote is purple. Purple seems to be the one color that I have not seen a windstone really produced in. I’ve seen ones that have purple in/on them…but not one where the main theme is purple.

OOO. a wine dragon! that would really go up here. this is wine country nere where i live.
December 4, 2007 at 6:31 pm #642090Purple, really? Who likes purple? I don’t but I’m sure I could work on something I like!! What color eyes would go good with purples though? I only have red, yellow, orange and blue. Blue would look nice but I’m worried everyone is sick of blue eyes.

My art: featherdust.comDecember 4, 2007 at 6:37 pm #642091red would really set the purple shades off. blue tends to really blend in and has less contrast with purple.
Orange eyes would look really nice with purple too. that would really give some contrast.
December 4, 2007 at 6:38 pm #642092Isn’t yellow the complimentary color of purple?
Any of those color eyes would look good depending on what other colors you use with purple on the body. Also depends on what shades of purple you use, I guess.
