I’m wondering, what is the time frame for payment after an auction ends?
Your listings don’t mention it, I am guessing it is the standard 10 days after it ends, but wanted to confirm that.

and can give you a better idea when they expect things to be paid for….
December 1, 2007 at 12:02 am #641240It is 10 days. It says it at the very bottom of the auction, under Seller’s payment instructions.

Thanks. I called and talked to Susie, and she told me where to look. I’d missed it.
Now, to lie in wait so I can get it, and no I’m not telling what it is!

December 1, 2007 at 12:35 am #641242Good luck Kyrin, on whatever it is you’re after!
Don’t be afraid to break your no snipe rule! 😛
December 1, 2007 at 1:43 am #641243I know which one it is! Good Luck and you won’t have competition from me if I am right!
December 1, 2007 at 3:31 am #641244Good Luck. I can’t afford anything up there right now anyways so no worries about me.
But in the new year, look out baby, I’ll run people down if I have to. 😆 😆

HUGS xoxo PTDecember 2, 2007 at 2:30 am #641246I agree…don’t feel bad to snipe! Do it in the last 15 seconds of the auction!!! Possibly a test bid about 10 minutes before it ends to see where the high bidder is at….and then…put a big bid in the last few seconds and you should have it…
We all do it and most of us have no hard feelings…
I have been sniped plenty and sniped others…no hard feelings!
I really hope you get what you want!

I wish, but the bidding is already almost at my max limit, so the likelihood of my getting this kirin is zip. But for a little while, I had him. I sure hope they may this a production color, otherwise I am gonna cry buckets.
I still want a special one someday though, darn it!

I really do know how you feel. I really wanted a dark calico flapcat and they kept going for way more than the light colored ones….
I didn’t get one…
Sometimes you will get some good deals…I got the Test Paint Mariner’s Watchtower for not much more than what a production piece went for.
The neat thing for you…you have the ability to paint and repair Windstones. You could do a PYO in a very similar pattern.
I can’t paint to save my life….I would love to have the ability to paint a PYO.
Also..with all the Christmas buying and spending…you might get lucky on another piece. I am sure there is a lot of neat stuff coming!
Don’t give up! You might get lucky! Keep watching!
December 2, 2007 at 4:59 am #641249hmm….did you miss some of the Dark Calico auctions keshete?
mine was pretty low…..it was less than $400
actually I think it was one of the lowest….
never mind… 😯

What Kaya is saying is good biddig advice if you really want that piece. I usually put in what I call a “nibble” bid early on in the auction. Let the auction ride out till the last day, and watch it like a hawk the very last minutes. I am a very guilty sniper. Kaya knows this well! 😆 I’ve gotten sniped plenty of times by others though. You win some, and you lose some with that bidding technique.
