well it’s happened…I have gotten my first broken windstone in the mail….
I chipped my white wizard (and fixed him so he’s fine)….but my sister wanted to get me a replacement anyway…
so I won the regular white wizard off of ebay…
and the person that sent him….only stuffed newspaper in a box….then put the wizard in…and stuffed more newspaper on top…
no wrapping around the wizard…nothing….
and after sending a message the seller is blaming the post office….
the box is perfect looking….no dents…not even dirt…
so they don’t want to be nice….I’m off to file a claim with paypal….
pics later….

November 27, 2007 at 1:58 am #639913I’m sorry to hear that frozen….let us know what happens.
November 27, 2007 at 2:00 am #639914That sucks frozen. Good luck, let us know.
November 27, 2007 at 2:01 am #639915Oy! I think the biggest thing is people just don’t recognize the difference between a solid gypsum piece and a hollow ceramic. They think they can pack them the same and they really can’t.

November 27, 2007 at 2:05 am #639916thanks…..
seems like we’ll get it worked out….the seller has good feedback…but doesn’t look to have sold that many windstones….
November 27, 2007 at 2:06 am #639917Oh frozen, I’m so sorry! I’ve not experienced a broken windstone yet and hope I never do! *crosses fingers, toes and eyes and bites nails anxiously as I’m expecting a package shortly* I hope paypal can help!

yes at first it was a eh…you can’t return it…but then he finally said ok…
and I told him there are a lot of people that would buy it to fix it…
it can be fixed…but I don’t want it…LOL…
November 27, 2007 at 2:18 am #639921I just got a “New” Peacock hatcher that has yellow spots on the egg and has some of the topcoat worn off…the seller swears it was “new” when she sent it to me via USPS in a SMALL MAILER BAG of all things…with NO Packing material whatsoever and can’t understand why I am sending it back for a refund…….
Mind you Not Even a Box! People are nuts!
November 27, 2007 at 2:23 am #639922Owch, poor wizard! I hate hearing these kinds of stories, and I have a few myself. If you’d like to have him fixed up, please let me know. The only good thing about a damaged piece is the opportunity to get it back to the way it should be!
Forever seeking: Blackwatch the raffle Old Warrior, Jennifer Miller's pieces, and GB Baby unis!
November 27, 2007 at 2:27 am #639923yes….I had when it happens….and it’s worse when it happens to you…
but the seller has been really good…after the first email….
so I think we came to an agreement and I’ll be happy to leave positive feedback….

The whole thing is…that it really isn’t hard to put a bunch of bubble wrap and double box….
And what a waste that a retired piece is broken…
I also get frustrated when they say new or mint and there are marks or chips all over it and you point them out and they act like they have NO IDEA what you mean….because when they mailed it in the Mailer bag it was like it was brand new!
