I have a lot of sympathy for Melody now. (Feathers!)

I’ve been sculpting feathers for days, and I’m not anywhere near done. And I’m not even being half as detailed as Melody gets with her feathery things, not to mention the fact that I’m just doing the wings, and not the body! I am still in awe of how much work she puts into her sculptures.

Anyhow, I thought I’d share a few in-progress shots of my latest project, in which I attempt to sculpt wings.

I still have lots to do, there are tons more feathers to add, since these are just the primaries. But they kind of look like how they will when they’re done, so I thought I’d show off.
