😀 Hi Guys!
I went up the mountain monday with my mom and I wanted to share the encounters we had and the view with you guys.
This is taken at the base of the mountain, we have to follow this creek for a while before starting up.
Took a picture of Mom and then turned around to view the scene behind me.
Encountered this garden snake on the way up.
Saw this rock that kind of look like a face.
At the pond at the somet there was these dragonflies.
Another snake on the way to the next lookout.
This mantis was on Mom’s clothing. She brushed it off and that is when she notice what it actualy was.

once at Mom’s place I saw this butterfly in her forest.
And finaly the sunset at my place…what a beautiful day! 😀

It also reminds me of the Smokies and Adironacks(sp?)
What gorgeous scenery. I have some great pictures like that in the Smokies on my honeymoon 14 years ago.
Question about you camera? What are you using. I have a few 5 megapixel digitals, but I just bought a Sony 10 megapixel DSLR A100K with the lens package.
What camera are you using to shoot these gorgeous pics? You must be using your macro feature for those gorgeous closeups of the fungii.
