I’m sure this has been asked before. Is there any reason Windstone doesn’t accept credit card payments?
I would be sales would go up big time if this were an option 😆
It would really ease the transaction for those of us that hate money orders and don’t have credit card access through Paypal.My guess is that that they’re not set up to take them, since they’ve dealt only with wholesale customers until relatively recently, and probably their business is still primarily wholesale. Their wholesale customers are probably on net 30 terms or something similar. So to take credit cards they would have to get a merchant credit card account and/or a secure payment processing service…they might also need to add other security (encryption, etc.) to their website as well. Its probably easier for Windstone to just use Paypal instead of doing all that.
It might not make sense for Windstone to take credit cards directly until the retail side of the business becomes more substantial. But it definitely would be more convenient for some customers if they did that! 🙂
Mimitrek has got the answer all right! We are not set up to process credit cards directly. Credit card payments can be made through Paypal. Processing credit cards directly would entail a lot of expenses and additional labor that we aren’t currently prepared to handle – at this point accepting credit card payments through Paypal is much more cost effective. Maybe this will change in the future, but that is probably a long way off. I appologize for any inconvenience this causes.
