OK I’m trying to get some money coming in. I know Star Wars is Science Fiction and not really Fantasy although Some of Goerge Lucas’ characters can be considered fantasy.
I won a Star Wars “Revenge of the Sith” poster thru a raffel at work. It is very rare in the free world. It’s double sided with the faces of the characters on the front and the back of their heads on the back. It is signed by Goerge Lucas and has a letter of aunthicity that comes with it. The poster and letter are both framed to keep them mint. I need to learn how to sell on e-bay since so far all I have done is buy. I also still need to figure out how to post pictures so there will be photo’s in the e-bay description.
Does ANYONE here possibly know what a poster like this would be worth?? I was told when I won it it would be worth about $400 because it’s rare, mint and signed.
Any input would be appreciated. I think this poster is very rare if not a OOAK outside the George Lucas world
      Updare the poster is listed

I can’t see e-bay at work. Is it single or double sided? Does it say signed by George Lucas? I’ll have to remember to check it out when I get home. How much is it selling for?

Mine is signed by Goerge but not the cast, BUT does have the letter of authenticity

                #620132

The one in the auction also has the certificate of authenticity, and the poster is 27 x 40.

                      The auction also says:

The seller probably used a generic Revenge of the Sith Poster for the auction. With Star Wars, like with Windstones you will only get what someone is willing to pay for an item. The fandom is still going strong, but Lucas also pissed a lot of fans off with aspects of the prequel trilogy. I used to be a big Star Wars fan, but that love has waned some in the last few years. I got tired of always trying to catch up on new books being released.

Oh I know that, and I actually appreciate the fact that he isn’t making them. The books that have come out since the movies are considered part of the “canon” of the Star Wars universe and he’d either have to choose which books to make into movies or jump forward in the universe to a point where no books have been written yet (40+ years from the time in Star Wars Ep. 4: A New Hope).

There are supposed to be two SW television shows sometime in the near future. Star Wars: The Clone Wars is an American 3D CGI animated television series currently set to debut in the fall of 2008. It is set in the fictional Star Wars galaxy, during the same time period as the 2003 Star Wars: Clone Wars series. Each episode will have a running time of 22 minutes, to fill a half-hour timeslot. There will be at least 100 episodes produced.

The Star Wars live-action TV series is a science fiction television series currently set to debut in 2009. The Expanded Universe production will be set between Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope. The project, which has yet to be given an official title, was first announced in April 2005 by Star Wars creator George Lucas at the Celebration III fan convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. The series will focus on minor characters from the Star Wars galaxy, rather than the main characters from the films. However, Lucas has stated that some of the main characters may make cameo appearances. Originally, 100 hour-long episodes were proposed, but at Celebration Europe in July 2007, producer Rick McCallum explained that it may run up to 400 episodes, and “it’s something that can go on for years and years. One of the ideas is that we’ll have multiple series going on in about two or three year’s time.” This supports a description given by Lucas as “one show that will split into four shows, focusing on different characters.”

He probably used a stock image. There are people on line that are notorious for stealing images and photo copying them and saying that they’re original autographs. Hope you get what you’re looking for.

Edit: just spoke to a friend of mine that is a huge Star Wars geek. He says that you should be able to get $300 easily. The double sided poster on it’s own would probably run about $80. Lucas’s auto is few and far between so if you’re going on Ebay, the best thing to do would be to set a reserve of about $250 and go from there. Hope that helps.

I was hoping to get between $250 and $300 (well I was hoping for the $400 I was told it was worth).
Would your friend be interested in buying it??

My friend is going to try to help me get it up on e-bay on Sunday. I have NEVER sold and still do not know how to post pics but he knows how to post pics and we will be teaching eachother how to sell things on e-bay. I also have an e-mail saying my first 3 posts to sell are free. What does that all intale??
I hope we can get a close up of Lucas’ signature that will come thru on the screen
