I love the flappers. During the time that the LE or LP small flaps came out, I was other wise engaged in life and never knew they existed.
Other than the common BW and Siamese small flaps, how were the other ones released and, has anyone been known to get a hold of one? How much did they originally go for and will they ever be revisited?
If anyone here has one and would like to share pix (or if theyre in another thread, just link me), that would be wonderful. Im a sucker for punishment and drooling I guess!
September 19, 2007 at 7:59 pm #492673September 19, 2007 at 8:42 pm #618780They were all sold at auction. They should be in the ebay sales gallery. At least some of them went to forum members, can’t remember who right off hand. 😀
September 19, 2007 at 8:44 pm #618781I never even knew there were LE or LP ones. I’d love to see them too…
September 19, 2007 at 8:53 pm #618782I am pretty sure Ski has one or two…

Scroll down until you see them– that is, if this is how you wanted to see them, at least for the first time. Ive seen them here only but would love anyone who bought one here to post a photo of theirs in the home environment. Anyone remember when this was? And what any of them roughly went for? I know theyd go for a lot more if one were to pop up here now- at least I think. Not a fan of the whites- in any piece (I like color and blending). And if I had to choose I dont know which small flapper here would be my fave. I LOVE those large calicos (lighter especially cause my own calico was more lighter even though Im a darker/black fan and would normally go for the darker calico if I didnt already share years of my life with a lighter calico)! But I accept that I wont have one and it’s OK. I hope those that won theirs, enjoy them fully!
September 19, 2007 at 11:27 pm #618784I had both the black and white small flap cats. I don’t have a picture of them. You’d have to ask Nivana for pictures now. At the time I bought them they were $150 each.

Of the LE? You sold them in your big sale?! 😯 Well, technically I didnt even know about them when that sale was going on or Id have been further tempted!
September 20, 2007 at 7:36 am #618786Lets see… there were the all LE white bird wing, the LP black and white spotted bird and bat wing ($150ea), the LE small tabby bird wing (About $200-350?), the large proto LE Grey tabby(From about $500-just over $1000), Large LE Orange tabby (Went for less… think the high one was about $600), the LE Large calicos, and now the dark calicos. 🙂 There are the LP Birmans, Pearls, and I think thats it… I have several of them… not the all white one, though.
September 20, 2007 at 10:35 am #618787I love the ickle flap cats too, ide love to see a record of them all. Well infact all the windstones actually what was sold, if they were limited etc etc
September 20, 2007 at 12:24 pm #618788Sigh….I thought the spotted flapper was the coolest, but I’ll just wait and see when the little flappers become production again to get one. Has there been any talk of production little flappers?

I dont think production flap cats have been mentioned. I think little calicos would be cute! Maybe that should be brought up, hu? Little calico flap cats. Miss Melody did say that “Cat people buy.”
September 20, 2007 at 12:28 pm #618790Oooooh, cute! I wish the next large production flapper could be like the little spotted one, I loved that color. 🙂 Little teeny weeny calico flappers would be awesome! The batflapper could have darker calico markings and the good flapper could be a lighter calico.
September 20, 2007 at 7:55 pm #618791Darn, I’ve never even seen this page before, what else are they hiding back there?? 😯 I love the Tabby in the big and little…my very first cat was a gray tabby.
September 20, 2007 at 9:32 pm #618792Afforable small calico flappers would be awesome! Of course, I want to replace my black and white one since I have a black and white cat. And, my late calico- while MIPA did a memorial of her and SO well, Id love to get a production calico flap (I can never afford an LE or LP piece most likely).
I dont want to leave out my chubby Phoenix cat who is a Korat (many think Russian Blue but he’s a Korat… and blue for all intents and purposes). So, Id love a flapper that looks like him. Solid blue grey. I think reissuing flaps as production pieces are great since there are SO many cats owners and lovers in this world. I bet theyd sell fast and evenly. They probably have business records of how the small flaps, as a line, did.
Anyone else want some kind of PYO flap cat?
:squeak: for the above… which I never do and dont have a right too at this point! But Im being brought over to the dark side of the force! 😆
