September 13, 2007 at 5:38 am #615823I just look in the places people forget about. I wasn’t even sure I should post these, because of the prices, and because many people may have seen them already… Oh well.
September 13, 2007 at 1:26 pm #615824Those look like the prices that BT’s lost world on ebay….
September 13, 2007 at 3:29 pm #615825They are pretty expensive…

I was thinking the same thing.

Lol… Right-0! It was a place I had never noticed before, I wasn’t sure how many others knew about it either. I didn’t know if they really qualified as “hidden auctions” or not, and I didn’t want to tick anybody off.
September 13, 2007 at 8:09 pm #615828I think most of us know about them. Maybe not some of the new people though. They are even members here, on the Forum. I think their member name is dragonkeeper. And I think “hidden auctions” are only important to keep a secret when it’s a good deal — way underpriced. These aren’t, so I wouldn’t worry about sharing them. 😀
September 13, 2007 at 8:23 pm #615829Ah, ok then. 😀

They are so expensive it is usually a better idea to wait for a “real” deal to pop up on ebay. I think I paid $100 or $150 for my emerald hatching kinglet….hehehe, way better than the $199 or whatever they are asking….
They are great place to find retired stuff if you don’t mind the prices…I am sure no one minded you listing it.
September 14, 2007 at 12:25 am #615831It was really nice of you to go to the trouble of listing them. Thanks! 😆
September 14, 2007 at 1:05 am #615832I wanted to just post a link to the store, but again, at the time I wasn’t sure how many people knew about it. I’ll probably buy from them eventually, when I get the money, despite the prices. I hate waiting for the retired pieces I want to pop up elsewhere on ebay and then having to try outbidding everybody else for them. Too nervewracking for me. And my computer is uber-slow.. It’s so satisfying to just hit “buy it now” and know right then and there that it is YOURS, all yours… 😀

Definately! I agonize over whether or not I’ll get a piece when I see one I’ve been wanting badly!
September 14, 2007 at 4:07 am #615834I’ve bought stuff from them in the past. I got both my Tan and Black Griffins from them and have not regretted it. I also got my Large Black Flap Cat from them too. They pack well and ship quickly. And their items are usually perfect (or noted if not). I also got my Hatching Peacock Kinglet from them, come to think of it. They are definitely a good source for retired pieces if you don’t want to wait for a deal (who knows when that will be) or don’t want to risk them getting broken.
I certainly didn’t mean that people shouldn’t buy from them! 😀
