I’m sure we have all passed by pieces in the past that now, years later, we wish we would have gotten.. So, if you could go back in time, what pieces would you NOT have passed up?
There was once an oriental unicorn that I ALMOST bought.. I’ve always kind of regretted not getting it. My other regrets could not really be helped, but I still think about them. I used to beg my parents and grandparents for the old green emperor, but of course they never got it. After that retired, I begged them all for the emerald emperor, which they never got either. I wish I could have gotten the green or emerald while they were still production. My grandmother, she always said that the emperors were too expensive for her to buy for me, but then the year after the emerald emperor retired, she bought me a ruby spectral, which was even more expensive than the emperors! Ah well.. And I also always used to want a black unicorn or tan griffon, but was too young to afford them, and by the time my grandmother started buying me windstones within that price range, they were retired.Yes, for sure, silver OW…

and the old green emperor, back when it was around $180 and brand new in our local store when I was a kid.. >_<

-J R R TolkienI would of tried for more of the OWs and definately a couple of SKs. I wish I would of gotten that PYO dragon from Windstone that Nam painted. And I have been wanting the pig gargoyle and a couple of others. But mostly, I wish I would of gotten more Limited or Prototype peices.
Definitely would have picked up some limited pieces off ebay…still hoping to be able to pick up a SK one day.
A tan griffin and ‘true’ jade oriental dragon when they were current in stores. Why o’ why didn’t I??
well my problem is I have NEVER passed one by that I have really wanted. I have ALWAYS figured out a way to pay for them. Which has put me in the financial situation I’m in now. I have been avoiding even looking at them right now. I still NEED my Gold and EmPea families but they will come in time, I hope

I’m sure anyone who was around back when BROWN emperors were still in production regrets not having bought at least a dozen of them..
At least I DID get both my Brown and Green Emperors when they where around. I actually got both of them right after the retirement announcments on both.
I really wish I had purchased all the royal hatchers before they retired. I also wish I had gotten all the coiled mommas instead of just the white while they were in the stores.
Yeah, I should have tried for a hatching emp too. I am keeping my hopes up though that they will eventually come out in a new color. Maybe someday I will get a white one off ebay though.
The daddy ki-rin. I loved him so much but, alas, I was too young to have that kind of money and at that point my family thought my Windstone addiction was just another phase their silly little girl would outgrow, so they never did get it for me either 🙁
There was a kirin family on E-Bay for an insanely cheap price – $135 for all three. I passed it up because I decided I didn’t collect the kirins. Of course it was snatched within five minutes. 🙄
Well I passed up a white emperor for $175. My wife even told me she would get it for me as a gift. It had a small chip on the tail, and the store was going out of business.
I would have loved to get one of the Silver OW’s. My wife and I both loved silver, but after buying the BG OW proto, I stopped ebaying for a while, and missed it. I didn’t even know they existed till about a week ago I joined the forum. Now I will die an incomplete man 😥
