I saw Susie’s post and got confused as to which ones they listed in the store. She posted about the Black Gold not EmPeaHmmm… I didnt know these were limited edition or discontinued. As a matter of fact, I know they are not limited edition. Are they discontinued or just out of stock? Hmmm… she said the same thing about the black gold curlie and they are back in stock. Whats up with that?! She is a forum member, too…
I just thought they were out of stock? They are only limited to the Windstone store though arn’t they and limited to batches when they can be made.
I suspect she just used the wrong wording for the limited part. No, they’re not Limited Edition, but they are Limited Production. She wouldn’t be the first person to get them confused.
The discontinued part is still just wrong though. The only color that’s considered discontinued is the original red/russet/flame color. (I was wondering about the white too, but I can’t find anything to back up my thought)
I can understand the misuse of limited edition, but not the blatant statement that they are discontinued. That is just a flat out lie… or she is just seriously mistaken. The difference in value of a peice that is discontinued and one that is out of stock would be signifigant. 😕 To me it smacks of someone just trying to get more money by wordplay. I dont like that. Its dishonest.
