Anyone else seen this movie?
I really think I hate the part before the end, not fair, I protest…*cry*
I’d say more, but for those who haven’t seen it yet, I don’t want to give away any spoilers.
But I kinda feel like I did when I read the end of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Story was wonderful, ending was well…no words.

I’ve not seen the movie yet. Been meaning to see if I still have a copy of the book around to read again before I see it.
I know what you mean, the ending was disappointing… it just didn’t seem to fit with the rest of the movie. I did really like the emphasis on imagination and seeing the world around you in your own way, then opening that world to others. In a way, the ending did support that idea, but it still didn’t fit as well as I think a different end might have. Still, a good movie overall
I saw it, too. I couldnt believe they did that. I suppose I should have read the book and then I wouldnt have been so stunned. 😕
I read the book when I was a kid and cried… now I don’t remember it that well, but I was a bit surprised that they made the movie and told my husband that I didn’t want to see it. (I didn’t use to mind sad movies, but after losing grandparents & loved ones they always seem to bring back too much and so I avoid them.)
