The forum is being (Loosely) divided into two groups: Those who squeak (Sometimes so much so that it seems a little greedy) and those who think to defend you from too much work/begging/annoyance. Does the squeaking bother you?
I added a poll for the forum members to see if sqeaking annoys them. 😆
Edited to add: I tend to agree that no squeaking would be even worse (Dont remember who said that…), but sometimes it does get a little old, when its for the same thing over and over.
August 14, 2007 at 6:51 am #492292August 14, 2007 at 11:32 am #608041It doesn’t bother me at all. Some people come up with great ideas (whether they’re feasible or not, that’s something else entirely) and they give Melody an insight on what could sell.
I really like the little icon of the mouse!
Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

I host the feedback lists, which are maintained by drag0nfeathers.

That is a great point. I feel like I would be bugging her if I ask for something… I dont remember feeling that way when I was asking for pink dragons, though. 😆
I am just asking, by the way. I do not mean to offend anyone/condone or condemn squeaking. I just dont like to see people fighting over it. It makes me soooo very sad…*chin trembles…*
August 14, 2007 at 12:02 pm #608043Sqeaking dosen’t bother me really. It only bothers me if it’s all the time. I really don’t like pestering people though so you won’t hear much squeaking from me.
August 14, 2007 at 12:15 pm #608044I don’t think it’s a a bad thing… as long as it’s not for the same thing over and over again. Ideas for new colors or whatever is cool IMO. It may help out Melody with new ideas too! But only Melody knows what she feels with all the sqeaking and questions. So we shall see what the creator has to say…. 🙂
August 14, 2007 at 1:09 pm #608045I think a reasonable amount of squeaking is okay, but like anything else, it can be annoying if done in excess. 😉

I agree. It seems like we are helping her (in our own small way) create a fantasy land of creatures. It’s nice to me to be part of that process. There are many sculpts that I will never be able to afford, aren’t my cup of tea, etc, but it’s still nice to know they are out there and somebody loves them. I enjoy the endless speculation concerning new sculpts, colors, etc.

August 14, 2007 at 4:38 pm #608050Thanks for the Pole Ski. I know I was guilty back when I was trying to get the green Fledgies and I’m very glad I got him but it seemed to be extra heavy lately

No prob. Think of it this way, though, DM: Back when you joined, we only had 3 pages of members and only about 20 of the members posted on a consistent basis. We now have 8 PAGES of members! 😯 Its to be expected that we will hear more squeaking. To be fair, I do remember people getting annoyed at you about bringing up the green fledges over and over. You did no harm though, right? 🙂

I just basically posted the same thing in the pink shell dragon post. We had many less members back then and it seemed like the green feldgie was a natural since the sculpture and paint already exieted. I also stated I was as guilty
