As far as I know there are just the peacocks, em peas and the special ow’s and keepers that have been ebayed… 😀 There are some variations in the regular peacock color though. I’ve seen peacocks that are mostly blackish blue, one’s that are super heavy on the champagne color, some that are just a dark peacock and then theres the brilliant peacock which seems to be an absolute perfection of the color. 😀 Sorry to ramble…
August 13, 2007 at 5:18 pm #607722Random trivia: Did you guys know that the Windstone peacock color inspiration didn’t come from the bird, but this mineral?
It’s called Peacock ore (or peacock copper) which refers to the minerals Bornite or Chalcopyrite. 🙂http://www.nextinnovations.net/gemstone/rock_descriptions/peacock_copper/Peacock_640.jpg

My art: featherdust.comAugust 13, 2007 at 5:23 pm #607723Those are pretty rocks! I want to find some now.
August 13, 2007 at 5:29 pm #607724Cool. I had noticed the similarity but never really made the connection. I collect rocks and minerals, I like getting rough specimens and displaying them. I’ve been looking for a nice large chunk of peacock ore for a while but all I usually find are small pieces….

see the OW here? it has a brighter violet rather then the dark purple..
so I am wondering if there is going to be some test paints of a Violet peacock that is doimantly a brighter aqua and this brighter violet color.
oh that is interesting Nam! I never knew that!
