Ok, how do I convince my husband to give me one of the black pegasus statues for our one year anniversary?

Tell him not to get you anything, and get it yourself. Or, buy it, wrap it, give it to him and tell to give it to you on the day!

Though in the families case I find a highly detailed itemized list including the price and whereto get it with address or web address helps 😉
Maybe you could suggest that you each get yourself something that you’d like for your anniversary this year instead of exchanging gifts with each other. 😉

Congratulations! You can still get each other something small inexpensive and meaningful. The big thing is more of just a celebration gift.
