What I mean is does anyone actually remove any seams or bumps that don’t belong?? I just opened a dragon and it had a seam up the snout part that I filed off. I also noticed that it has stray bits of gypsum here and there stuck to it. Just curious…

I have never had anything on one that really bothered me, although if I ran into one like yours I would do the same as you.

I did notice that some scales weren’t as smooth as others sometimes, especially in the creases, but never to the point I had to fix it.

In your case, I’m wondering if he wasn’t overlooked at the factory. Maybe he was in a rush to get to your place!

          😆 😆 😆 Ski, you’re funny.
I’ve never noticed any excess gypsum or rough spots, so I can’t say I prep mine.

I haven’t noticed anything, but I haven’t gotten too many. I would fix them too.

PYOs have far fewer ‘points of inspection’ than painted Windstone pieces, so flaws and goofs are missed far more frequently. If you get a PYO that has a weird defect, air bubbles (holes or dimples that are obviously not supposed to be there), a big ugly seam.. missing a nose.. (one of mine was once!) then you can contact the factory and they’d be very happy to replace it for you! These are just missed flaws- Windstone is serious about giving you a nice product.

Of course, if you get a kick out of fixing them, then go at it! 🙂 But never feel obligated to. Windstone will replace flawed pieces for you.
