-J R R TolkienJuly 8, 2007 at 10:38 pm #597979Now I don’t like the spectral dragons, as a rule, and I especially don’t like the sitting spectral! (though I’d buy it in brown or red gold for sure) I don’t even really like the new Gold color very much, either! XD But for SOME reason, I am IN LOVE with the sitting spectral in gold!!!
The only picture I’ve seen is the special gold up on ebay right now – I just think that prominant brown on his shoulder is so striking and beautiful! Is this something we can expect to see consistantly on the gold sitting spectrals? Is it something we might expect to see as a variation on any of the other dragons???"He that breaks a thing to find out what it is has left the path of wisdom."

Arlla, I share your feelings for the spectral dragons. I never liked them until I seen the rising spectral dragon in the special gold on eBay, and fell heads over heel in love with it. WOW he looks great that color. Melody, any chances in making him in a new version of light sandy beige or tan?
July 9, 2007 at 2:20 am #597981I agree Arlla. That strong bit of brown on the shoulders makes all the difference on that the sitting spectral in gold for me 🙂

Olympia designed the gold pattern for the Spectral. I had told her that everybody likes a lot of brown on them, and, well, she obliged. I let her have her head. That is how they will be! The other dragons will stay as they are.
July 9, 2007 at 6:58 am #597983Hooray for Olympia!! ^_^

-J R R TolkienJuly 9, 2007 at 10:30 am #597984All right! He does look gorgeous in that patterning – but of course I’d buy him in anything. 😳 😆
July 9, 2007 at 10:38 am #597985I think I am the high bidder right now. I really want one of these. It will be my first sitting spectral!!! 😀
July 9, 2007 at 10:45 am #597986You think you’re high bidder? It should tell you yes or no on the auction, even if your name isn’t mentioned next to the picture.

I have not looked lately. I dont remember being outbid… I think I outbid Arlla and have not been outbid yet, but I am not sure. Pretty sad, hu? I won a flapcat the other day that I had totally forgot I was bidding on. 🙄
July 9, 2007 at 11:09 am #597988😆 At least that’s more comfortable than the nerve-wrack of sniping.
July 9, 2007 at 9:27 pm #597989Well that depends if you have to scrape up money to get it. 😆
July 9, 2007 at 9:42 pm #597990There are ten of these, and they don’t look different from normal production ones, except for the special invisible paint.
July 10, 2007 at 3:20 am #597991I HAD to put a bid in on the first one, even though I knew I wouldn’t get it, but #5, 6 or 7 is MINE!! 😈
