Okay, so I’m retarded… It came to mind yesterday to check where Magical Omaha is really located. I’ve seen “Omaha” in the names of things before and they weren’t anywhere close, so didn’t really think about it much, plus I hadn’t heard of any store called that before… but they’re actually here! And I’ve shopped there before! OMG I felt so stupid when I saw that who they really were 😳 :oops:. My husband even bought my first Windstones there 5-6 years ago… They just use the name for their online stuff to keep things straight (plus I think it’s easier to spell than Next Millennium… I always have to look up the correct way).
But I stopped in today and picked up an EmPea Sitting Spectral… woot! On Sale! Cuz they’re relocating in a week and don’t wanna move heavy stuff if they don’t have to. I would’ve gotten more if they had stuff that I was looking for.
The guy there was super nice (I realize now I didn’t even ask his name), and we talked for a bit about various things related to Windstone, and he even mentioned Purplecat! (yay PC!)
And only related because it came up in conversation while there…
When did Windstone make it required for stores to keep boxes? He said it was part of the agreement that they had to keep the original boxes in order to sell Windstones. I’m just wondering since the other 2 stores in town (that I’m aware of) that carry Windstones do not keep any boxes (which is why I won’t go to either of them anymore). The one puts stuff in their own flimsy constructs, and the other just finds any box big enough (even if for something else they’re selling).They’re having a sale? 😯 It’s not for internet stuff, though, I take it – it wasn’t mentioned on their website this mornign when I checked.
I dunno, honestly… I didn’t ask. They don’t actually have in stock most of the stuff on their website at the moment, and the sale’s only on in-store stuff so they don’t have to move it… so if you’re able to call them, maybe then you can get it? *shrug* Or I could go buy stuff for folks if preferred, since I know that works. They’ve got a handful of newer dragons & some candle items. I remember many, but not all, if you’re looking for something?
That would be great if you could see what they have and if you could get the prices. We would love to help them since they helped us.
I was actually planning on buying the Rock Dragon from them since shipping was free, but I bought it from Windstone this morning instead because the price difference wasn’t that big. Still, if they have a gold Riser or an EmPea OW on sale, could you let me know? Thanks!

Hmm… I’ll go off memory at the moment. I know, my memory kinda sucks for the dragons, but I’ll give it a shot… I should’ve written them down. My bad. And the costs are 25% off the norm. (‘cept the 2 damaged ones, but I didn’t get the costs)

Which got us on the PYO subject. He won’t sell ’em. *shrug* But he wants to see mine when I’m done 😕 I just bought all the stuff I need to do one myself 😀

Sorry, you’re right. I meant the Young. A long time ago I got the name wrong and I haven’t had much success correcting it in my mind.
I thought the lady that owns the shop was a forum member… I can’t remember her name. She was talking to me about carrying some of my prints in her shop at one point, but I hadn’t heard back.
