i think all of us californians should meet up an dhave a lil get together..a windstone party if you will, it would be cool to meet other collectors in person so you actually knwo who your talking too(or trying to outbid on ebay) on these forums lol, of course anyone is welcome if they can get out here =D
Here’s the place: San Luis Obispo Renaissance Faire. July 21st-22nd. There’s a prior post about this, but now that it’s closer.. A reminder won’t hurt.
Edit: 21st-22nd. I read a publication that listed it wrong, I guess. I’ll have to double, double check. But I’m sure wolflodge is correct (she’s been around SLO County far longer than me :-D)
The date for the faire is July 21st and 22nd! We should start a list to see who is comming. Then we can plan when and where to meet! 😀

Nirvana and I as of now are running the booth for our friend at the Faire. We are planning on having a “Windstone’s welcome” sign up in the booth. Gonna try to stop at Wolflodge’s store either on the way up on friday, or on the way down on monday. Have to stop in Solvang for Aebleskivers.

hehe 😈Well, I can’t think of any cool fair or anything to go to… but I’m only about 2 hours away from you, and I think there’s a few more people around the Midwest… I know there’s a couple in MN somewhere… 😀 😀

well as of right now me my girlfriend and my best friend are driving down at the crack of dawn to hopefully be there on time lol
Oh rats, I’ve already mortgaged July so that I can go to Comic-Con in San Diego. Phooey! I hope this year’s get-together is so much fun that there’ll be another next year.
Dracomancer, I can’t believe it: I lived in Ridgecrest for eight years, hardly any distance from Lancaster! Well, speaking relatively . . . and considering population density out there. If I’d known, we could have met at Round Table or something! 😛 I was taking regular trips down to Palmdale for a while, partly to enjoy the restaurants. (There ain’t much in Ridgecrest. Once you get used to the local eateries, it starts to pall a little.)
If I have time and money I would so go… I have always wanted to go to Disney world and the zoo down there.. Well I am pretty sure I will have the money… I hope I will have the time… I would want my bf to come down too… do you guys know if there are any comic book things down there?
Oh man! I hope I have time for this…that’s REALLY close to our wedding…but maybe I can find an excuse to head up that way for wedding stuff, since our site is in Monterey…I’ve been wanting a Windstone party for ages!

Well, I’ll be working at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival (in Shakopee) in late August and September. You could all meet me there some weekend. I’ll be missing two of them though: the first weekend (August 18-19) and one in September (Sept. 22-23), so don’t come then.
