I think I already know the answer to this and I am sure someone has probably asked before… but have you guys ever considered doing payment plans, even just for forum members, for the larger more expensive peices? You obviously wouldn’t ship the item in question until all payments were made..

The problem is that the two wonderful office ladies (Karen and Susie) that handle all of the orders from us, ebay, retailers, etc and more… simply don’t have the time nor resources to keep track of everything they’d need to for payment plans. Plus Windstone doesn’t have storage space to ‘hold’ the items for us. Space has become a very big issue. 🙁
I don’t think any of this has changed, but if it has Melody’ll smack me with a salmon to correct me and get me back into shape! 😉

My art: featherdust.comJune 23, 2007 at 3:49 am #591726I have a suggestion, how about Gift certificates? So family could get us gift certs, and when we have enough, we get what we want.
That would only take computer space and programing.
We could also use the gift certs like a layaway plan, but giving ourselves gift certs when we have spare change. 🙂 So that could be one way to do it.
And oh, if you guys like this idea and can do it, I will gladly take a brown OW as a reward for being oh so clever! LOL!

June 23, 2007 at 7:47 am #591728here is what was said last time.
Gift certificates were also brought up but were discarded for several reasons. more work, forgeries, etc etc. 🙂

We don’t want to do that for two reasons: We need to keep things simple, because we aren’t a retail store, and that sort of thing is what the stores do, we don’t want to compete with their customer service.
