Take a look at this beautiful Lippizan! If you like horses, you will love this clip, you’ll even forget it’s a horse! This is amazing stuff. This video is of Andreas Helgstrand and his 9 year-old mare, Matinee, at the World Equestrian Games. It is the Musical Freestyle Dressage competition, and they pretty much wiped the floor with everyone. Turn up the sound and watch this mare dance…she knows where the beat is, and don’t miss her tail action with the music.

My friend showed me that yesterday. I was going to post it, but forgot. I haven’t seen a horse do that. How did the other horses do? Do they have a video I can compare it to?
that technique is called dressage..my mother taught it for 25 years and taught it to me as well, accept for she used a quarter horse and i currently have a thoroughbred/warmblood cross..so we shall see how he works

Aww! Thank you for sharing that video! She was wonderful. I wish I could have seen that in person. I always wanted to learn dressage, was even told by someone that I had the natural posture for it when I was on a horse’s back. Gods I miss horseback riding. Haven’t been in 11 years.
