    near my house about 10 miles away is a big cat reserve..i like to go there to relax and to watch the cats in their extremely well done habitats..here are a few pics..the small leopard thats walking in one pic is a chinese leopard, also the black jaguar stood at the fence hissing at me for a good 10 minutes

      its in Rosamond california, not very far from where i live in lancaster..you MUST go see! they just had pallase cat kittens which are UBER rare and soooo cute!

            is this the one Tippy Hedron (however you spell it) started or was part of way back when…..

            I know I read a book about it….and her experiences with it…..and it was in southern CA somewhere….

            I might have to go visit that…how far away from LA is it?

              The one you are thinking of is called Shambala. I don’t know if it is open to the public though.

                yeah hers is calle Shambala, north of LA in Soledad….or something like that…
