We just received our first small Rock dragon, he’s an instant Fav. We’ve sold a few ,(maybe 3) large Rock Dragons so far. The large Circle of Cats seems perfect for a patio table or porch table;…
or along a garden walkway, sitting on a pedestal.
Many times I’ve noted would-be buyers ,seemingly put-off by the “shear heft” of the piece.
If it were outdoors, it,s weight would be more acceptable, as it would not be moved as much as inside a house. Also, the extra weight of the piece may even be seen as an asset.
(just a thought from a Windstone dealer, that used to sell Garden Statuary.)
Thank you for the wonderfull things you make for us.June 8, 2007 at 9:55 pm #587324Art Slinger wrote:We just received our first small Rock dragon, he’s an instant Fav. We’ve sold a few ,(maybe 3) large Rock Dragons so far. The large Circle of Cats seems perfect for a patio table or porch table;…

Thank you for the wonderfull things you make for us.It was intended as a garden piece! For some reason (I forget why, exactly) we decided to do it as an indoor thing.
Oh, I remember!… Because the candle area would collect water, and then if it froze it would crack. It was even going to be a fountain or something at one time.June 8, 2007 at 11:35 pm #587325Can you hollow out the candle holder somehow – or make a drain hole? I would love it as an outdoor piece!

Since people rarely puts these things outside in the garden anyway, we thought we’d just do them as indoor pieces!
We would of probably needed to make it into something other than a candle holder, because in addition to needing a drain hole in the center,we found that the candle blows out too easily outdoors! Even with a taller glass holder for the candle.June 9, 2007 at 12:27 am #587327You could put a small oil lamp in it, they don’t blow out as easy. I would LOVE a fountian by you!!
