Ok, I don’t see anyone posting about it yet, but I think there was a thread last year, maybe.
I know we have a lot of anime fans here! Is anyone planning to go to Anime Expo in Long Beach this year? 😀 I hear it’s a lot of fun, although I haven’t been yet. Might go this year. Still trying to work out logistics, and I’m not entirely sure if I can still get tickets… but anyway, is anyone else going?
i was going to go but unforunatly due to some issues i wont be able to this year (first time in 7 years i cant go) 🙁

Ski, if I go I will definitely be taking pictures. It sounds like these things are fairly colorful events.
There is one thing I’m wondering, for those of you who have gone before: Is it very loud? I know there are supposed to be J-rock concerts and that sort of thing, but do they generally blast music in the convention center? I ask because if I were to drag my dad along, he would, well… complain verbosely about anything obnoxiously loud. (And I must admit, loud noises scare me, too.)
No, they don’t blast music or anything. Unless you’re at the dance or at a certain gathering with music, music isn’t played. The noise comes from the number of people everywhere!
Awesome. Perhaps I was being paranoid, haha. I have been to similar events that BLAST music, and it was somewhat intimidating. 😀 Thanks for the input.
