I'm going to cry……

Things have just hit the fan 😯

I leave for 3 days for my sisters wedding and things go to H-E-double hockey sticks with work!! And now I have to sort everything out!!! All they had to do was follow the list of things to do and I’d said I’ll look after everything else when I get back 👿 But no they can’t do that. SOmehow there was a lack of communication between the Artistic Director who has half of the Set at her house and the Set Builder (basically the Artistic Director made one phone call and never followed up). So the Srtistic Director has also booked herself solid and is Unavailible to do anything for the show until Tech week. She also had this wonderful idea that the 3 guys she’s hired could take Half a set, turn it into a whole set and do it all in 3hrs down at the theatre where they don’t allow major carpentry!!! It took me over half an hour to convince her of this. So now I have to race around after work tomorrow and pick up this #$&@$%# Set (that took even more negotiation to be able to go pick it up) Wednesday night and storit at my house (where there is next to no room) and have e-mailed all of my carpenter and technician friends begging and pleading and offering bribes of food and beer to come to my house on the weekend to build the thing. All of this was supposed to be planned out (and was 👿 ) a month ago, but no one did anything!!!! So now I have to fly in to the rescue and magically pull this off. And we still don’t know if we can get the fireplace facade that we need cause the Artistic Director has been too busy to help with her own show!!!! I had a meltdown with them last week where I became the Bitch Queen from hell and things got done, but not all. We have under 2 weeks till we go into tech and I feel like I’m the one running and putting on this show with no help whatsoever. No one could possibly be paid enough to deal with this kind of @#$%##$!!!!!! 👿

I’m going to bed now where I’m going to cuddle up with a stuffed animal (cause I have no one else) and cry myself to sleep.
