Griffmoma is bidding on my two ebay dragons…..last time she didn’t want to pay until the following month! I should have left a negative but was afraid of getting a negative feedback in return….has she done this to anyone else? Is there a way to protect yourself from buyers that you know are a pain?
June 2, 2007 at 7:59 pm #491267June 2, 2007 at 8:06 pm #583946I’ll say the same thing I said before start stating in your auctions how long people have to pay. I’d go ahead and contact her to see if she would be able to pay with in a set amount of time provided she wins. If she can’t you can always cancel her bids. Also you can always mark your auctions where people with 0 or negative feedback can’t bid, but I think you have to do that when you first set them up.
June 2, 2007 at 8:12 pm #583947After last time you still didnt put it in your auctions when payment is due? The best you can do is cancel her bid and add it on to your auction.
June 2, 2007 at 8:14 pm #583948I was wondering…can an auction be set up such that it automatically blocks the bids from specific Ebay members?

Yeah… you gotta cover all your bases when you set up an auction. It’s a pain in the butt, but try to think of all the worst case scenarios and have an answer for them before things start. Can’t get yourself in trouble that way! That’s why my auctions are always so darn wordy… 😆

June 3, 2007 at 12:46 am #583953You can cancel her bids, and you can block her specifically from bidding.
If you go into your “My Ebay” and go to the Selling page. On the left column on the bottom should be a link for more options, click this. There should be a link to block a bidder. Click this and type in her ebay name and click enter.

Yes, make sure you do that. I had a similiar problem with a buyer once and had to do what Emerald described above. It stinks, but otherwise it’s not fair to you as a seller.
June 3, 2007 at 5:38 am #583955I hope she doesn’t cause you any more trouble, purplecat. 😕
June 3, 2007 at 9:53 am #583956Ask her if she can pay in a reasonable amount of time before you cancel her bid. Maybe she has some money now.
June 3, 2007 at 7:07 pm #583957Fixed…..I outbid her! 🙂 If she has no money she shouldn’t be able to bid too high……and I like the dragon a LOT.
