I know a few of you do it.. I was just wondering how you paint over the finish? Do you have to use a different kind of paint or something? Oh and also what is the best finish to use? I still haven’t sprayed my rainbow guy…
Dunno if this is the place for this topic, they’ve been moving stuff about repaints to the general section.
But anyhow, I use either rubbing alcohol or acetone to strip off the top layer of the old paint, because it’s very hard to paint over something that’s slick and glossy. But I don’t bother to try and completely strip the paint, that’d take way too long!
I use the same paints I do for PYOs, and the same finishes.
