Do you have any idea when the pearl griffin chicks will be back in stock – particularly the sitting chick? And do you plan to offer the pearl mother again?

Here is the issue I am having with the Pearl griffins. We are afraid that we may be making too much signed special edition stuff. We don’t want to devalue the pieces that are sold by flooding the market with these. If we do more Pearl griffins it will be a regular unsigned production, but then, they would need to be different looking from the special signed ones.

I can’t figure out how to do this and still have them match the special signed Pearls well enough to be part of the same family.
So, there may not be any more of these particular blue eyed Pearls.

Different eye and jewel colors maybe?
I have tried shading them with various colors, but they end up looking totally different, and not very good anyway.
          Any suggestions?

Changing the eye and jewel colors would probably work well enough. I’d like to have the chicks, but I am waiting for the females in black and tan for the whole family…Besides the wolves Dave is buying me. 😀

Hmmm, that makes a lot of sense. How about giving them markings? Keep the pearl white, but put some black, or whichever color fits best, at the end of the wing feathers or some banding on the tail?

I think a different jewel and eye color might be just the ticket. That would be the easiest to do and readily identifiable as being different.

Which color? I wish we had a decent lavender.

I’ve tried. They don’t look so hot, and they don’t match the other pearls at all. If they aren’t going to match anyway, giving them different eyes and jewels would be the easiest way to do it.

Sorta like the real old Greens and the pupil problem. Or the purple interference paint on the wolf griffins makes them different…I guss they have different eye and jewel colors too though. The markings on the wing tips sound like a good idea too. 😀

Will you not have the same problem with the brown and black gryphon chicks/mother when you produce them? Or are you going to offer them unsigned, including the first batch, to avoid this?

Oh well, I guess I’ll have to hope they turn up on eBay.

It’s what you did with the wolf griffins-10 with lavender eyes vs the ones in stores with regular green eyes.

You could go with a light green for the regular production white griffins – it wouldn’t be too harsh a contrast against the white, or even light yellow, like the white dragons.

Lavender would be nice. I think grey eyes would be pretty without standing out too much like some of the brighter colors like green. The straw might work too. If you used grey or lavender eyes, I think amethyst would be a nice jewel color

I was thinking straw eyes would be good.

Grey or straw eyes would be delightful! 😀
