Ok. I’m giving the seller the benefit of the doubt here, but that looks like a lot more than dust. It almost looks like they unburied it from somewhere.

No kidding! Please don’t give your babies mud baths before listing….

Yea, it does look like a jade. A lurker perhaps? Seems funny these pieces always come out of the woodwork after we get talking about them. 🙄

I know! I was thinking the exact same thing… There have been too many coincidences, I’m sure some sellers are surveying the Forum to know which pieces to sell.

Well, that’s not entirely bad, at least that way we can get what we want 😆

It happens all the time. These little jade babies are cute, though. Well… maybe not this one…

It almost looks like he was used as an outdoor garden ornament.

Me too! I’d rather have a jade adult and peacock baby, but maybe I can clean it up and use it for trading.

It does look like he crawled out of a mud hole. 😯
I got a hatching brown that looked like this (dirty), he came out of a storage unit that the people never paid for! So the guy just decided to sell everything on ebay, and in “as is” condition. So I got him cheap because he was dirty!! 😀
This one atleast looks like he is intact, but very dirty!

I wonder why people won’t clean up the item before trying to sell? They would get more money for it if it was clean.

I got a black baby unicorn for $25 once because it was so dusty. (After taking the dust off it did have some chips, but, all in all a pretty good deal.)
