So I just got a free trail of Coral Painter X it looks really cool but I have no idea how to use it & want to see if it’s worth getting. Does anyone eles use it? Have any tips or a good website to take a look at? I’ve looked online but haven’t found much more than I already figured out on my own.
I have Coral Painter 1, 7, 8, and 9. Um, I almost ever use it though as I prefer to use Open Canvas 1.1 for my digital work.
I’ve never really come across any useful tutorials for it… sorry. Usually what works good for me is to just experiment with different tools and setting and see which ones I like and then save them 😀I use Painter 9.. I have an old tutorial up on my site, and if you go to a bookstore there is an Official Painter Magazine. I have a full length tutorial in the May issue.

Thanks so much! That helped a ton 😀So here is my first attempt do work with Coral Painter. This is also my first time to do anything digital so I have no idea what I’m doing LOL I’ve just been playing around with it so I don’t know if I’ll finish it or not I’m not real happy with the look.

3rd one down 😉 Though you’ll have to figure out from the older Painter layouts. Also, if you take a brush you like and have changed its settings, click and on it and drag it away from the tool selection, AND IT MAKES A CUSTOM BOX! Wh00t!I miss that program so much T___T I waisted a perfectly good trial in procrastinating over half of the month away.
