I got a cheque that I’d been waiting for today and after settling all my debts, I’m left with about $350 to spend and I can’t decide which Windstone to buy!
Should I spend the whole amount, or close to it once shipping and customs are added, and get either a ruby or white Rising Spectral, or a white or gold Old Warrior?…
Or should I get a less expensive piece, like the new em-pea Spectral or Fledgling?…
Or should I wait for the em-pea Old Warrior, the gold Spectral or the gold Rising Spectral?…
Then again, for all those pieces except the ruby and the white Rising Spectrals, there’s gonna be special first 10 editions that I’d like to try for…
I JUST DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!

Personally I’d go for an OW – I’d vote empea for myself but he is going to be around for awhile and you don’t know how long the white OW will be made. So if you really like him go for the WHITE OW!
I think those first 10 empea fledges will be very hard to snag, but I guess I would try for one and then if I don’t get it go for the white OW. 🙂
Go with the piece you will just DIE if you don’t have (I know, I know, none of us will really die just because we lack a Windstone 🙄 But it feels like it sometimes). And if you don’t favor a particular piece, then I’d suggest purchasing the one that you don’t think will be around as long.
I pretty much came to the same conclusion as Lokie. I love so many of those pieces that I went for the one was afraid wouldn’t be around too long… I got the last white Rising Spectral… Or at least, I’m trying to get it. The store only offers UPS as shipping method and, living in Canada, I just won’t use them because of the hefty brokerage fee. So I sent them an email explaining the situation and hopefully it will all be resolved soon.
I thought about it, and the pieces that are really special to me are both Spectrals and the Fledgling, so for those, I’m going to have a try at the special 10, and if I don’t win, I know at least that they’ll be around for a long time.
That left the white Old Warrior (27 currently available), the gold and the em-pea Old Warrior (regular production), the ruby Rising Spectral (16 available) and the white Rising Spectral (1 available), so I went for that one.
Am I the crazy one that says.. maybe… save the money? 😆

Seriously though, I already am saving money. This $350.00 was a bonus.
I know, I know… I could have saved that as well… But in my defense, I’d like to mention that although I’ve been a member of the Forum since July 2006, I only own a grand total of 12 dragons, 9 of which are Fledglings 😛
I guess it’s just about your level of self-control and/or want I guess. 😉 I have the old green fledgie on my desk and that’s it.

OH no! Damn, a day late. Today my CC would have been cleared. 😥 Now I need to squeak for white Risers.
