Or just very upset.
When i brought my scratcher a little while ago i had to pay customs (As expected) But the people took it out of my bank account twice! I have been on the phone to them and they say they havent and then i had to sent them my statement to say they have and they insist they havent taken the payment! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH They are saying its my bank and my bank is saying its them!!
Im not a happy bunny, 🙁 Im expecting my rainbow mother from Dragoness anyday now and im guessing i’ll have to pay customs, and i havent got any money to pay it because someone has nabbed it!!!!Mum has just said that i should not buy anything big from the states again 😯 🙁

I’m really sorry. That must be extremely frustrating. I hope it gets worked out. And if it is the bank they should have to pay any fees incurred!

Maybe you could threaten legal action if it’s not settled soon? Maybe that will get people to get their arses in gear? 😈

They’ll probably end up telling you it was just a computer glitch, like that is supposed to help?! 😡It costs me twice as much to get Windstones in the first place and all i get is this 🙁 Im only a student with a Sunday job! I don’t think i will even be allowed to collect them anymore and ive only really just started collecting windstones and i love them oh so much im just so depressed at the mo 🙁
Hmmmm… this is pretty odd. First time I looked at this thread there were no visible comments from anyone, but toward the end there was a pic of a bunch of cats on someone’s bed (which was really funny), and so I came back to it now, and I can see everyone’s comments, but no pic of kitties! What gives?
Griff: can you have customs look at their records? It should show up on their end, and even though they’re the govt, I think you should be w/in your rights to insist that they double check. (Doubt it’s a problem w/your bank.) Can only imagine how infuriating that would be.The same thing happened to me. I had to file a fraud charge thing through my bank and then they investigated it. Turned out it was my stupid bank. Maybe there is the same type thing for your bank? I hope you get it resolved. 😕
I have phoned parcel force and spoken to no less then 5 people now! They are the people who i had to pay the money to. They looked on their records and said they have only taken one payment from my bank, i told the lady that my bank statement says parcel force has taken two payments on the same day at the same time.
The lady said i have to send then a copy of my statment prooving this (Which i did) I got a call today from Parcel Force saying that they have checked and they have only got payment once again and the guy said i had to check with my bank as it will be a problem with them.
I phoned the bank and they said they send payment out when they recieve a demands for it they said that parcel force have obviousely sent an invoice twice to me and got the payment twice and that its their fault and i have to get in touch with them!
Im bloody furious!!! Someone in charge is ringing mum tomorrow 🙁

Someone had an icon that was so big (the kitties) that it broke the forum! It’s fixed for now. 🙂

I’m sorry, Griffiness. I hope you get your money back. Customs fees are already huge enough on Windstones without them taking double! I feel for you.
That sucks. I hope you get it resolved and that you will still be able to collect Windstones. I would also try and find another bank if they won’t help you.

Well, I’ll be heading for a week into Scotland this fall to hike the Highlands, so if you had a large piece, or several smaller ones, I could probably take them in my carry on and just post them when I get to Glasgow. I’m taking very little with me to begin with and originally planned for only a small satchel for carry on. I could always fill a small duffel, as long as it’s within weight and size if there was something around late Sept. you wanted 😀 😉
