I just got an updated price list and the Grand Unicorn is back in stock and production at Windstones. I do not have any in stock, but there were two people that contacted me about getting one and I want to know if they still want it. I’ll PM them personally to ask, but I thought I’d tell everyone else too. 😀
Btw, it looks like all the bookends are back in too.
yes the owl bookends are awesome! i got a pair for myself recently- i scrambled when they were running out of stock to get them just in case! i loooooooooove them! the big one – left side- in particular is a great value for the price -its a big piece! the young dragon almost comes up to the top of the book for scale.
Speaking of grand Unicorns. Can someone tell me if they are the same size as the “black male pegasus”?

Nope, they are quite a bit bigger. I’m at work right now, but if someone else doesn’t answer before then I can measure mine when I get home and let you know the actual difference. I want to say the Grand is taller by about 4 inches and much wider (by at least 2 inches), but it’s just a guess.
The sculpt is probably too close to the Male Pegasus. If the only difference is size, most people will just get the smaller one.
Too close? The big one is down and prancing, the Male is rearing. I think they’re pretty different… 😕
Really? I’m just comparing it to the Grand Unicorn, which is rearing on it’s back legs. The Male Pegasus is like that too, right?
Oh – we’re talking past each other. 😆 Yeah, both Grand Uni and Male Peg are rearing – but what I meant was that that big unfinished Pegasus in Melody’s gallery could be the new Grand Pegasus to match the Grand Unicron.

Ok. I got some pics and measured them. I honestly don’t know what I was thinking, but the size difference isn’t at much as I thought. The Unicorn is about 11 1/2 inches high (approx.) and the Pegasus is about 9 1/2 inches high (approx.). I am also under the assumption that the black and white Pegasus are the same mold – hence the same size. Here is a photo comparasion. Sorry, I didn’t make my bed. 😳
