Again, I am not a big PYO fan…but Purplecat can paint!!!!! Windstone should definetely hire her!!!!
May 12, 2007 at 10:21 pm #574804I wish….I’m on the opposite side of the US or I’d be living on their doorstep begging to work with all the pretties. That’s an amazing compliment but it would probably cost them alot of time, frustration and shipping to hire me. I may someday (if I get my nerve up π³ ) ask if they need an OOAK artist for dragons (Nam makes me look like a kid in a sandbox with her stunning griffins). I’d probably go comatose from joyous shock if they were interested! But for right now I’m trying to work on perfecting my skills with these guys.
May 12, 2007 at 10:31 pm #574805oh Purplecat those are STUNNING!!! my my what pretty repaints!
May 12, 2007 at 11:08 pm #574806yep, stunning is the perfect word. I love the lap dragon & I’m actually not that fond of pink π (this is the second time you’ve made a tempting pink dragon!) The subtle color shifts from pink to white, peach & blue are great!
May 12, 2007 at 11:25 pm #574807Thanks!! I hope they go to great homes….Thank you so much keschete for a HUGE compliment and I may ask sometime but to tell the truth I’d be a nervous wreck they’d say no.

The way you paint makes them look like original Windstones. Its the shading and the airbrushing and all the details and blending. Many of the PYO’s aren’t as smooth with the color transition and shading. It is truly an art to paint these sculptures and to make them look real.
May 13, 2007 at 3:56 am #574809It’s great, the way the bidding is going up on those pieces. They’re worth it.
May 13, 2007 at 3:45 pm #574810They just look like fantastic real windstone pieces, i LOVE the rose Gold i wish i could bid i really do π
May 13, 2007 at 3:55 pm #574811Is it very hard to ship overseas? I’d be happy to if I had a clue as to what to do and how much to charge. π

May 13, 2007 at 4:02 pm #574813Oh…. π I thought it was shipping problems..:)
May 13, 2007 at 9:59 pm #574814She’s gorgeous!! I doubt I’ll actually win her (Fingers crossed), but at least I’m in the lead for now. The lap is beautif as well, and I usually hate pink. Good luck with that one ski.

Thank you, and welcome to the forums π I do hope I win her. I put in a pretty good bid, but it will probably not be enough. There is lots of interest.
