wooohoooo I got my first Needle felted Griffin all done! I think I took like 3 months on this on, but I was working on other things too.
He’s up on e-bay now. I’m starting him super low just because I need the money 🙂

i can only imagine the time it takes to needle felt something into the shape, form, and texture you want. is there a wire form under it or is felt through and through?
i hope he/she/it sells well.

Thanks! Well there is wire in the wings to hold the form but the rest of the body is done over a soft-sculpt body like a stuffed animal.Greater Basilisk wrote:Nice new avatar, enchantments. 😀
hehe I thought a dragonflutter would be cute. Can you tell what it is? when the file gets so small it’s very hard to see.

Thanks it’s really not felt but soft wool I guess it’s called needle felting because felt’s made the same way? Not sure why because I have some felt and it feels nothing like this wool, the wool is super soft. I love your signature quote by the way! 🙂

I can tell what it is. Of course, I saw it full-size, but I think it’s clear even if it’s small in the avatar.
