May 9, 2007 at 7:26 pm #571863Good luck. It might be a while.
May 9, 2007 at 9:19 pm #571864What’s your budget? I have an emerald prototype, but his is one of my very favorites. I’d only sell him if I could get quite a lot, I’m afraid.
(I have a ruby one too, which I might consider letting to, but obviously you can get ruby direct, so I probably wouldn’t bother.)
May 9, 2007 at 9:33 pm #571865I have a feeling it won’t be enough lol.

How much were you looking to get for the Emerald?
May 9, 2007 at 11:09 pm #571867Eh, I’ve decided I probably shouldn’t sell him.
I mean… unless you want to offer me something like $800 or so! But I know that’s too much for him, when prototypes in the special colors sometimes go for less than that.
May 10, 2007 at 1:35 pm #571868Whats special about the Emerald Spark? or is it just because he is your fav?
May 10, 2007 at 1:48 pm #571869She said somewhere he was the first Windstone she bought, or saw, or something…
Sorry for stealing your answer, SPark. I’m bored. 😛May 10, 2007 at 2:07 pm #571870I think its a prototype old warrior.
May 10, 2007 at 4:07 pm #571871That too.
May 10, 2007 at 7:46 pm #571872The very first time in my life I saw a Windstone Editions dragon was at the Excalibur hotel in Vegas, and it was an emerald old warrior. I fell SO in love with him, but I was only 16 or so, and flat broke. At that point in my life anything over $5 was expensive, so a nearly $200 dragon wasn’t even thinkable.
And the fact that it’s a prototype is extra special too, of course.
May 11, 2007 at 4:08 pm #571873Oh yes i mean why is he special? As in a prototype? Whats the difference compaired to a normal one?
I need to learn 8)
I think you should keep him 😀
May 11, 2007 at 6:33 pm #571874The prototypes have more “battle damage” He’s got missing scales, and scars, and nicks on the edges of his scales and such. Melody removed all that in the regular Old Warrior, because apparently the “damage” looked too much like casting mistakes, rather than intentional design. Also his head touches his wings, where on the regular Old Warrior it doesn’t. Not sure why that was changed.
Mine actually has these flesh tone patches where there are missing scales that’s supposed to be the poor dragon’s skin underneath. Which most of the prototypes don’t have, as they decided it looked too weird. It is a little strange, but hey, it also makes him more unique!
(There are non-prototpye emeralds out there, of course. Who knows how many. But I believe there are only 50 prototype emeralds. And something like 400 total prototype Old Warriors, most of which are still at the factory, waiting to be used as test subjects for new colors.)
